“Hi, my name is Peter Beattie and I am the owner and founder of Maine Media Pros.”
I started Maine Media Pros in late 2008, in my spare time from my one bedroom apartment in Southern Maine. At the time I actually still worked as an architectural designer at an engineering firm in Southern Maine.
When I first started this all was only a part time business for me, designing websites for friends and family when I wasn’t working at my day job.
The beginning
Eventually I decided to take the giant leap of faith and quit my day job in early 2009, taking my web design business full time. What first started out as a dream was now a reality. It was around this time that I came up with the name “Maine Media Pros”.
Today
Fast forward to more than 3 years later, and here I am today writing this for you from my home office in Southern Maine, where I run Maine Media Pros.
I’ve designed over 100 websites in these past few years and have countless satisfied clients from all over the world ranging from local business owners, startups, freelancers, online merchants and even other web designers.
At your service
It isn’t just me however. As Maine Media Pros has grown over these past few years, it’s become almost impossible for me to do it all by myself like I used to. The Maine Media Pros design and marketing team is now 5 people strong, each of us working from our own home offices. Technology, it’s a beautiful thing.
However, when you email or call, you will most likely be speaking with me directly. And if your project requires a face to face meeting, it will most likely be me who you’ll meet with.
